Browser Support: Check CSS Features Compatibility In Different Browsers

Browser Support is a website that might be considered a life-saver by many web developers and designers. The website allows users to input CSS commands into the text-box and finds out if the following CSS snippets are supported in different browsers or not.

Currently, the website allows users to find the compatibility for the following browsers – Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Opera and Apple Safari.

Using the website is pretty plain and simple. Once you are on the main page, you will see the text-box at the top. Just enter the command and the service will provide “assumed” search results – which you can choose from to save time, or just write your own.

Once the search is completed, you can see if the browser supports the following code or not. Usually the website also provides you with a browser version – though one browser version may not support the snippet, while the later updated version may.

There are also some small details at the side of the search regarding the CSS code – along with an example to show you what it looks like.

Feature:

  • Helpful for web-developer in finding any code not supported by browser.
  • Saves time.
  • Currently supports only desktop CSS – not mobile and tablets (HTML and JavaScript).
