SendRail: Share Large Files Online From Your Mac Desktop

There are various ways to share files online. Online file hosts, DropBox, and email are all good options but they require too many mouse clicks and the process can be made simpler as well as faster. Here to make file sharing super-simple for Mac users is a desktop application called SendRail.

SendRail is a desktop application for Mac computers. You start using SenRail by linking it with your Facebook account and then downloading and installing its setup file. With the app installed, you can right click on any file and select the “Send to Friend Via SendRail” option in the resulting menu. A box will open up where you can type in the name of a Facebook friend; they will be sent a link to download the file using 256-bit AES encryption. If the file’s recipient is a SendRail user too, the file is sent using a direct peer-to-peer connection without involving SendRail’s servers at all. Apart from the simplicity it offers, this desktop application offers something else: no limitation on the size of the file you want to transfer.

Features:

  • A user-friendly desktop application
  • Compatible with Mac computers
  • Lets you send files to your Facebook friends through your Mac desktop
  • Uses 256-bit AES encryption
  • Uses peer-to-peer connection for SendRail-to-SendRail users
  • Does not have any file size limits
