TomTom releases Android Navigation app for India

TomTom has announced that its Android Navigation app has been released in Google Play for the Indian market. The app carries a price-tag of INR 2050 and will compete with the likes of Sygic Navigation (paid) and Google Maps Navigation (free).

“The TomTom Navigation app for Android has been designed especially for drivers. The latest TomTom maps are included and stored offline, which means that drivers don’t have to worry about losing a network connection in the middle of their journey. The app includes landmark navigation and free quarterly map updates which ensures that drivers always have the latest map on their smartphone,” TomTom noted in a press release.
