Huawei unveils cheapest dual core Android smartphone for Rs 5700

The new Huawei T8830 comes with a powerful specification list.

Chinese handset manufacturer, Huawei has announced the launch of yet another entry level Android smartphone. Called as the Huawei T8830, the smartphone is priced at around Rs 5,700 and thus by far is the cheapest dual core processor based Android smartphone from a reputed brand.

However, Huawei has announced it for the Chinese market as of now and there is no information as when it will be launched in other markets including India. Considering Huawei's focus in India, we hope that the smartphone will also make its way to India too and if launched, this device will bring about some serious changes to the entry level Android smartphone market in the country as well.

In terms of hardware specifications, the Huawei T8830 is almost identical to Huawei's Honor Android smartphone. Huawei T8830 comes with a Mediatek MT 6517 dual core processor operating at 1 GHz speed and has 512 MB of RAM, reported Gizchina.com.

The smartphone comes with a 4 inch display with a 480 x 800 pixel resolution and all protected with a gorilla glass for added strength too.

For imaging, it has a 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus. Although form China's own market perspective, the device might not be as exciting but specifically for the Indian market, the Huawei T8830 brings in features of mid ranged device at the price of low end devices.
