Google won't make apps for Windows 8

This means that popular products like Google Maps, Google Search and other such service will remain off the Windows 8.

There is some really bad news for the users of Microsoft Windows 8 products as Google at present is not interested in making products for the new operating platforms.

"We have no plans to build out Windows apps. We are very careful about where we invest and will go where the users are but they are not on Windows Phone or Windows 8," Clay Bavor, product management director at Google Apps, quoted as saying by a website named V3.

This means that popular products like Google Maps, Google Search and other such service will remain off the Windows 8 radars as far as the native applications are concerned.

But there is hope still as Google is not out rightly denying the fact that they might come up with something in the future. They are open to the idea of developing products for Windows 8 platform.
