Amazon refreshes Kindle Fire HD with new look and reduced price-tag

In addition to the new Kindle Fire HDX tablets, Amazon has unveiled a refreshed version of its existing Kindle Fire HD tablet. The tablet now sports a new look and upgraded OS. The revamped version of Kindle Fire HD is now on pre-order and will start shipping from October 2.

The specifications of the revamped version remain same as the previous Kindle Fire HD, which include 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 7-inch 1280x800p display, 8/ 16GB of storage, and dual stereo speakers with Dolby Audio.
