Spotted: Samsung Galaxy Folder

The device gets a clamshell design and comes with Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 operating system.

More images of the Samsung's purported clamshell design based Android smartphone, called as the Samsung Galaxy Folder (SHV-E400S/SHV-E400K), has been surfaced.

The Galaxy Folder is expected to be a low end Android smartphone with a full sized numeric keypad. It would have a two way folding clamshell design so that users could use it as a regular touchscreen based Android phone or otherwise. The keypad will be a standard alpha-numeric, multi-tap keypad with full D-pad for scrolling and physical call connect/disconnect keys.

Although specifications are still scarce the only information available is that Google Android Jelly Bean is what the device will be based on. It is expected to have a 4 inch display with 800 x 480 pixel resolution and a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.

The Samsung Galaxy Folder is expected to be announced for the Korean market, suggested the sample images that has Korean language updates on it. However final date of launch is not yet known.
