Zebronics launches ZEB-BH500 Bluetooth headset for Rs 449


Zebronics, supplier of computer accessories and consumer electronics, has introduced a new Bluetooth headset for use with cell phones, media players and laptops.

Utilising a proprietary design, Zebronics's headset can be used for either mono hands-free or stereo sound. The headset is powered by a rechargeable polymer lithium ion battery and features rugged construction.

"The innovative design and ability to wirelessly deliver high quality sound in such a small, lightweight package demonstrates the design skill put into every accessory we produce for the computer peripherals marketplace." said Rajesh Doshi, Director of Top Notch Infotronix India.

The Zebronics Bluetooth Wireless headset allows people to talk without holding a phone up to their ear or dealing with the hassle of cables. Weighing only seven grams, the ZEB- BH500 includes a secure ear hook. As per an official statement by the company, the headset features volume control and a built-in rechargeable battery for up to 85 hours of stand-by use and 2.5 hours talk time. The wireless device works anywhere up to 10 meters away from a Bluetooth device.

ZEB-BH500 headset allows the user to speak in normal or even low tones and be heard clearly at the other end, while the headset user can also hear conversations clearly without raising sound volumes to uncomfortable levels and avoid ear fatigue.

The ZEB-BH500 product also includes a USB charging cable, a one-year warranty and is available at Zebronics’s online sales site and leading IT stores in India for Rs 449.

Earlier this month Zebronics had launched the Lucid Plus webcam. The webcam boasts of an interpolated 24 megapixels, and has standard features such as USB connectivity, a mic, and a snapshot button. The Zebronics Lucid Plus webcam is available for sale at a price of Rs 425.

The maximum resolution of the Lucid Plus is 640 x 480, and the webcam has a CMOS sensor. The lens has 2P + 1R filter. The webcam connects through computers through a standard USB interface, and is a plug and play device.

Back in October, Zebronics had announced its Vivo wireless headphones. The headphones come with a built-in mic and are available for Rs 770. Zebronics claims that with Vivo’s wireless streaming, one can listen to music, FM radio, and also make wireless calls from a distance of 30 meters from the transmitter. It also has an option to monitor conversations wirelessly. Vivo’s dual mode lets you to use the headphone wirelessly as well as in wired mode with a 3.5mm stereo cable, which is included in the packaging.
