Asus Google Nexus 7 coming to India tomorrow for Rs 20K


The tablet has high end specifications like Android Jelly Bean, quad core processor, NFC etc.

The much awaited Google Nexus 7 tablet made by Asus will be launched in India tomorrow, Unaez Quareshi, sales and distribution director, Asus India told The Mobile Indian. The tablet has been priced at Rs 19,990 and will be available through Chroma (a Tata group electronics retailer), and other large format retailers.

Google Asus Nexus 7 is a 7 inch tablet which will come with a 1280x800 resolution bearing IPS screen with 10 finger multi-touch support. The tablet will sport a quad core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor with 1.2 Ghz clock speed along with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Its huge 1 GB RAM will also support smooth functioning of applications and games.

Besides, the tablet will come in 8 GB in 16 GB storage variants. It is to be noted that Google has recently announced a 32 GB version of the Nexus 7 tablet as well. The Nexus 7 also has a 1.2 megapixel front camera, WiFi, Bluetooth, 4325 mAh battery, and NFC connectivity. The tablet is also lightweight at 340 grams.
