Google Now offers auto retrieval of boarding pass

The ever helpful Google now also helps in faster flight check-in too

Google Now application has now got the automatic boarding pass retrieval system, aimed at faster flight check-in and lowering user's worries and troubles.

The Google Now is a personal assistant application available for Android Jelly Bean devices. It not only answers users' queries but also gives users information that it predicts they will want, based on their search habits.

For instance it tellsers the day's weather before they start their journey or how much traffic to expect before they leave for work, or when the next train will arrive as they stand on the platform taking cues for things and providing information relating to them at just the precise moment is what Google Now actually does.

Now with the newly added feature, Google Now sends the flight information to users' Gmail and provide the boarding pass right at the screen of the user's mobile device so that the check in process can simply be speeded up. Supporting airlines can simply scan the QR code provided on screen by the Google Now application just like the paper boarding pass, only saving on the hassles.

The application is presently only available for devices such as the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and other devices running Android Jelly Bean operating system.
