Searching in Facebook gets better

The latest feature of Facebook lets users search for users on various parameters.

Popular social networking service, Facebook has announced its new Graph Search feature that allows users to be more specific as to what or whom they want to search. Further, Facebook claims that the new Graph Search provides more accurate results.

The new search tool allows users to search for specific persons or friends or even application which earlier was just limited to name and related keywords.

Quite clearly, the aim of improving the search tool is to allow users to search for fellow Facebook users and connect more easily. It will also help Facebook in seizing the falling interest as was seen recently in the UK where, according to a report, 6 lakh users have stopped using the social network.

Facebook chief executive Mark Zuckerberg has called it "one of the coolest things" that the social network has done recently.

"Graph Search is a completely new way for people to get information on Facebook," added Zuckerberg.

The newly developed search tool has been rolled out but it will take about a year before that reaches to each and every Facebook user globally.
