MagicReader: Turn The Pages Of An eBook By Moving Your Head [iOS]

If you are an iPad owner who reads eBooks on your device, then you might have found that flipping pages with your finger is inconvenient when you are holding the device a certain way. Here to offer a “touch-free” page-flipping feature is an app called MagicReader.

MagicReader is a free to use iOS application meant to be used on iPad devices running version 5.0 or later of iOS. The app utilizes the front facing camera of the device to detect when you are moving your head. The pages on the eBook you are reading are flipped according to how you move your head. If you want, you can disable the touch-free feature anytime and turn to manual page-flipping. The app also showcases your eBook collection on a virtual bookshelf for visual appeal.

  • Compatible with iPad devices.
  • Lets you read eBooks.
  • You need only move your head to flip the pages.
