Gmail Notes Sidebar: Store Notes For Individual Gmail Emails & Access Or Edit Them Later [Firefox]

Some email conversations are very long and include emails from your previous correspondences as well. Reading the entire email afterwards to remember what it was about can be very time-consuming. What you could use is the ability to take notes with such emails. This is a feature being offered by a service called “Gmail Notes Sidebar”.

Gmail Notes Sidebar is a free to use browser tool. The app comes in the form of a browser add-on for Mozilla Firefox. You install the add-on and are then able to store notes with each email in your Gmail account. Simply open up any Gmail email and click the Ctrl+Alt+G hotkey configuration to open up the add-on’s sidebar where your notes are displayed and can be accessed.

The notes can carry special formatting as you can see from the image above – different font styles, colors, and sizes are supported. Your notes are stored online and are fetched each time the add-on is run.

Features:

  • A user-friendly browser tool.
  • Compatible with Mozilla Firefox.
  • Lets you store notes with Gmail emails.
  • Supports special formatting with notes.
