Smart Refresh: Reload a Webpage Without Reloading the Cache [Firefox]

You refresh a webpage to see if any new content has been uploaded. But refreshing a webpage reloads all the page elements, not just the newly added items. This means that quite a bit of time is wasting reloading things that you can already see. Here to help save you that time is a tool called Smart Refresh.

Smart Refresh is a free to use browser add-on for Mozilla Firefox. The add-on helps you refresh your webpages in an intelligent manner. Basically the add-on provides you with a refresh button which you can add to the browser’s toolbars through the Custom buttons boxes. You can use this button or the Shift+F5 shortcut for refreshing the page without reloading the cache. This means that only new items on the webpage will be reloaded while the old stuff will remain unchanged.

Features:

  • A user-friendly browser add-on.
  • Compatible with Mozilla Firefox.
  • Refreshes the webpage intelligently.
  • Does not reload the cache while refreshing the page.
  • Saves on page loading time while reloading a page.
