urported specifications of the HTC developed Facebook phones codenamed Myst hint at a dual-core Qualcomm processor and will run Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update.

HTC is reportedly working with Facebook on a smartphone codenamed Myst. The Unwired View reported that the HTC Myst will feature dual-core Qualcomm mobile processor, 4.3-inch display and will also support 4G LTE networks.

Facebook has been rumoured for working on a smartphone with deeper and system-wide Facebook integration since last year. The social network has worked closely with HTC to bring out the Facebook button flaunting devices - Salsa and Chacha. Now both companies are working to develop the HTC Myst featuring 4.3-inch touchscreen display with 720p HD native resolution support. This display will offer 320 pixel per inch pixel density.

The Myst will pack a dual-core 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 chipset with 1 GB RAM and 16 GB on-board storage. This smartphone will not feature any memory card slot. At the rear would be a modest 5 megapixel camera and in the front would be a 1.6 megapixel camera for video chat. The Myst will support HSPA+">HSPA networks and for select countries it would support 4G LTE networks. By default, the smartphone will run Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update.

Other details about this phone are unclear like whether HTC will use Beats Audio with Amplifier and Ultrapixel camera technology. We shall wait for either of the companies to shed some light on these speculative details.
