Videocon launches 7 inch VT71 tablet for Rs 4,799


The new tablet runs on Android 4.0 having 1.2 GHz Processor, and comes with free HDMI cable.

Videocon Mobiles has launched a new 7 inch tablet in the market for just Rs 4,799. Called as Videocon VT 71, the tablet comes with Android 4.0 (Ice-Cream Sandwich), 1.2 GHz processor and 3200 mAh battery.

Videocon VT71's 7 inch display comes with 800x480 resolution, 4 GB ROM, 512 MB RAM, WiFi (b/g/n), front VGA camera and an expandable memory of up to 32 GB.

The VT71 also has a 3.5mm Audio Jack, a HDMI out port with free HDMI and OTG cable, micro USB support and 3G support via dongle. The tablet is priced at Rs 4,799.

The low cost tablet competes with products like Lava eTab Z7H, Micromax Funbook P250 Alpha, and Karbonn SmartTab 2, all of them coming with similar features and price. However, unlike any of these tablets Videocon VT71 comes with free HDMI cable.
