Google drive for Android gets video streaming, pinch to zoom


Improved application now comes with integrated video playback capabilities and pinch to zoom on presentations

Google Drive, the online document and file collaboration application, been upgraded for Android. Along with stability updates, Google has added some new and exciting features to the application as well.

Now Goggle Drive application will let user's stream videos right from within the application itself. But the feature is only applicable for devices running Android Honeycomb 3+ versions to start things with but is expected to roll out to further devices as well in future releases.

The new Google Drive also comes with pinch-to-zoom feature in the presentation viewer. This will allow users to showcase or highlight important areas while making presentation using the application itself. The ability to edit documents was added to the application in the previous release and the new additions will certainly help users make most of it using the Google Drive application.

Along with the newly added features and functionalities users will notice a few other tweaks to the Drive app, including better overall performance all around the application.
