Twitter Audit: Find Out If Your Followers Are Real

Are you curious if the people following you on Twitter are a bunch of bots? What good is it to have lots of followers if most of them will never actually see anything you post? A new tool called Twitter Audit is designed to scan your followers and find out what percentage of them are likely real. This lets you find out how valuable the people who follow you really are.

Like any Twitter app, you will have to authorize Twitter Audit to get access to your Twitter account. Once you do, it will pick 5,000 random followers and scan them. It takes a few minutes, and for mine, it looked like nothing was happening for a while. If it sits at zero percent, do not be alarmed, it will go eventually.

After it’s finished it will let you know the percentage of your followers which it thinks are real. It will also tell you how real it thinks you are. This is useful for people who use their Twitter account to market something. If it thinks you are a bot, you may need to adjust your strategies.

Features:

  • Analyses your Twitter followers to see what percentage of them are real.
  • Reports back a handy shareable score for you.
  • Tells you if it thinks you are real.
