Swipe Halo Value 2G tablet launched for Rs 6,990


It has dual SIM, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, a 1.5 GHz processor and 512 MB DDRII RAM.

California based Swipe Telecom today announced the launch of a 2G calling tablet in India with dual SIM and Android 4.1 Jelly

Bean operating system. The tablet, named as Swipe Halo Value, is priced at Rs 6,990.

This is the fourth tablet under Swipe's Halo series after Halo Tab X 74S, Halo Edge and Halo 3G.

Swipe Halo Value supports data and calling via 2G Dual SIM and video calls through Skype. It comes with the latest Android Jelly Bean 4.1 operating system, a 1.5 GHz processor and 512 MB DDRII RAM.

Weighing only 335 grams, the Swipe Halo Value comes with a 7 inch display with 5 point capacitive multi-touchscreen. The tablet has a 2 megapixel rear and a 1.3 megapixel front camera that helps in clicking high quality pictures and video chat effectively. The camera is armed with features like Panoramic Shots and multiple shots.

Swipe Halo Value comes with a Face Unlock Feature which allows one to unlock the tablet using Facial Recognition Mechanism which has now been enhanced by liveliness check where a person has to blink their eyes in order to unlock their tablet PC. It has a 3400 mAh battery and has access to Google Play store.

The tablet comes with 4 GB in-built memory which is expandable upto 32 GB through a micro SD card. Swipe Halo Value comes with Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity and WiFi 802.11 b/g/n module. Other features includes Flash Support 11.1, Olive Office Premium, Ebook Reader and audio recording. The tablet comes bundled with accessories like AC power adaptor, USB cable, head set, user manual and warranty card.

Swipe is also offering a leather sleeve worth Rs 699 with the tablet.
