Samsung Galaxy S Duos sees price cut, now selling for INR 12,900

Along with Galaxy S III, Samsung India has also reduced the price of dual-SIM Samsung Galaxy S Duos smartphone in the country. The phone is now retailing for just INR 12,900 at the retailers and online stores like Flipkart. Samsung Galaxy S Duos was earlier retailing for INR 14,900.

Galaxy S Duos S7562 features Android 4.0, 4-inch display, 1GHz Cortex A5 processor, 5MP rear camera and 1500mAh battery. The smartphone also comes with 4GB of internal storage and microSD card slot.

Originally launched in September 2012, Samsung Galaxy S Duos was initially available at INR 16,900, but it seems better value for money at the current pricing. At INR 17K, it was certainly overpriced with some outdated specs.

Samsung Galaxy S Duos key features:

  • 4.0-inch WVGA display
  • 1 GHz processor
  • Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich)
  • 5MP Auto Focus Camera with LED Flash
  • VGA secondary camera
  • FM radio with RDS
  • 4GB internal memory
  • 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n
  • Bluetooth v 3.0 and aGPS
