Create Disk Image From Files: Create Encrypted Images Of Files & Place In Pre-Defined Folders


While using services like Google Drive or Dropbox, you can get an offline folder installed on your computer that you can copy files to. These copied files are then automatically uploaded to your Drive or Dropbox account. Windows users usually use an encryption app before uploading files for added security. Now Mac users have a similar option in the form of a tool called “Create Disk Image From Files”.

Create Disk Image From Files is a Mac app offered by Automator World(http://automatorworld.com/). The app comes sized at only 140 KB and can be used to encrypt files before being uploaded to your Dropbox or Drive folders, or any other folders. All you have to do is simply drag your files to the workflow you define in the app and your files are compressed into an encrypted ZIP archive and transferred to your specified folder. You set a password for encryption which you need to access the encrypted files.
