Google has officially announced the Play Store gift cards. These cards are now available in United States at select retailers such as GameStop, Target and RadioShack.  Company is yet to announce the global availability of these cards including India.

The cards will also be sold from Walmart.com starting later this month.

These gift cards can be used to purchase music, movies, e-books, apps, games and more from the Google Play Store. Consumers can also use them to purchase in-app goods.

Gift cards are certainly good news for consumers, as these will also allow consumers without plastic money to purchase content from Play Store.
