Croppola: A Super Smart Image Cropping Tool

An important part of taking a fantastic picture is what you do with it after. Lining up the shot is all well and good, but cropping the image to make it just right is another skill in itself. Of course, we cannot all be professional photographers, and sometimes we need a little help to make our pictures look as good as they possibly can be. That is where Croppola is incredibly helpful. It takes the pictures you upload and uses a computer algorithm to give them the best crop possible.

All you need to do is click the big button that says “Select Files to Upload” and it will begin the process. Right below the button to upload your images is an option to select the aspect ratio for the cropping. If you do not select this option, it will crop it with the same aspect ratio of the original image. Besides the original aspect ratio, there are 6 other choices available.

Using the uploader, you can add multiple files at a time. Once the files are finished uploading, it will show the crop that their computer algorithm recommends. Of course, you can change this if you like, but I found that it did a very good job of improving my images with well placed crops.

Features:

  • Upload images to be cropped quickly and easily.
  • Uploader allows multiple images to be uploaded at once.
  • Choose the aspect ratio of the crop.
  • Edit the crop if you are not happy with it.
