HTC Desire 500 India price revealed, to sell for INR 21,490

As we reported a few days ago, HTC is getting ready to launch its mid-range Android smartphone Desire 500 in the Indian market soon. Now, thanks to a product listing at Flipkart, we know the pricing of the phone, which will sell for INR 21,490.

The phone is still not in stock but is expected to be available in the next couple of days. The company has already imported over 5000 units of the phone in the last week of September and these units will soon be reaching the retailers.

To remind you, HTC Desire 500 comes with a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor, dual-SIM support, 4.3-inch WVGA display and 8MP rear camera. The phone also features 1.6MP front camera, 1800 mAh battery, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of storage, microSD card slot and the usual set of connectivity options.

The phone runs on Android 4.2 and sports Sense 5.0 user interface with tweaks like Blinkfeed.

In related news, a Flipkart seller has also put HTC’s One Mini on sale for a hefty INR 37,299 but we would suggest you to not the buy the phone at this price. We are trying to get a confirmation on the pricing as we don’t believe this to be the right price. The phone will most probably will retail around INR 30,000.
