Intex Aqua N2 launched at Rs 6,990; supports 22 languages

The 3G smartphone comes with a 4 inch LCD display with WVGA resolution and 1.2 GHz dual core processor.

Intex, which had recently announced Aqua HD and Aqua i4 Android smartphones, today announced another Aqua series smartphone called Aqua N2. It is available in black and white colouors, and is priced at Rs 6,990.

The 3G smartphone comes with a 4 inch LCD display with WVGA resolution and 1.2 GHz dual core processor. Besides, the Intex Aqua N2 has Android Jelly Bean OS 4.2.2, 5 megapixel rear camera with auto focus and LED Flash, and a 1.3 megapixel front camera. The phone has a 1,400 mAh battery which claims to provide up to 5 hours of talktime and 220 hours of standby time.

Intex is providing 5 GB of free cloud storage with the Aqua N2 which anyway comes with 4 GB ROM and 32 GB expandable storage slot. Besides, the Aqua N2 comes with WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS.

It has anti-theft features and an innovative app called Matrabhasha that supports 22 regional languages to enable use of the smartphone in user's own mother tongue. The smartphone is also loaded with fun filled apps like Intex Play, an application that facilitates downloading popular applications and games and Intex movies for unlimited streaming and downloading of latest Bollywood movies free of cost for a month. The phone also supports popular multiple music formats such as MP3/MIDI/AMR/WAV/AAC and video playback MP4 /3GP/AVI and more. Along with the usual mobile accessories, Intex is also providing a free flip cover too.

Commenting on the launch, Sanjay Kumar Kalirona, business head - mobile, Intex Technologies said, "Intex has devised Aqua N2 keeping in mind the need for users to have access to a variety of content without any speed or connectivity constraints. The phone provides best of features at a reasonable pricing without compromising on superlative mobility experience demanded by the users."
