ShoppingPal: Save Purchasing Links To Online Shopping Items & Get Suggestions For Alternative Products

If you are an experienced online shopper, you will already know that online shopping is not as straightforward as it is supposed to be – at least not when you want to save money. Multiple online stores have the same product in stock and they all have different prices. The same product you are about to buy on Amazon, might be offered for a cheaper price on another online retailer’s website; or maybe some other online retailer is offering an even better and newer product with the same price.

Realizing all this, experienced online shoppers always extensively research their products online before they make any purchase. But jumping from one retailer website to another can take quite a bit of time when you consider that there are many such websites. Here to help you with your online shopping and ensure that you buy the best products, is a tool called ShoppingPal.

ShoppingPal is a free to use web service that will be very beneficial to online shoppers. The website helps you save a list of purchasable online items. You start by creating an account on the website. You can then add pre-created lists of items or create some of your own. The next step is to either install the site’s extension or drag its bookmarklet to your browser’s bookmarks toolbar.

Whenever you are viewing an online item you want added to your list, you can use the extension’s icon or bookmarklet to add it to your ShoppingPal collection. When adding the product to your lists, you can enable price drop notifications that let you know whenever that product’s online price has been decreased.

The same action will also display alternative products that you might be interested in purchasing. When possible, you will be shown the prices of the same product across various online retailers. But when a match is not found, you will be shown alternatives.

  • A user-friendly web service.
  • Lets you maintain online list of shopping items.
  • Lets you know when price of your items is lowered.
  • Offers product suggestions.
