As we head closer to the rumoured October 15 announcement of Android 4.4, new leaks related to this upcoming version of Android have started to appear. The latest leak coming from Italy confirms the previously leaked NFC payments integration and reveals few changes in location options and more.
Talking about payments first, the feature will most probably be known as Tap and Pay, if not simply Payments, as was seen in the last leak. It will allow consumers to pay for goods or services using NFC and will be integrated right in the operating system.
Location settings also seem to be getting tweaked and will now include three options – High accuracy, Battery saving and device sensors, which will allow users to choose one depending on their need. There will also be a recent location requests section, which will show the last apps that have accessed your phone’s location.
A few other images showcasing Android 4.4 lock-screen and app drawer have been leaked, which reveal that both lock-screen and app drawer are also going to be revamped but not many details are available at this point.
