After over two months of official announcement, Huawei MediaPad is finally on sale in India. Earlier it was supposed to become available in December-end but was delayed. Online stores like Letsbuy, Adexmart are now selling this Honeycomb tablet for INR 28,000.
Huawei Mediapad features a 1.2GHz Qualcomm dual core processor, Android 3.2, 5MP rear camera with HD support, 1.3 MP front cam, 4100 mAh battery and HSPA connectivity.
Huawei has also partnered with Aircel to provide a data offer, so if you use an Aircel connection with MediaPad, then you will get 3GB of free data download for 3 months.
At this pricing, Mediapad certainly looks like an expensive buy; when tablets like Xoom have already seen major price cuts and any price more than 22-23K would not make sense of this Huawei tablet.
