Samsung launches Star 3 and Star 3 Duos handsets.

Samsung brings in a generation leap to its Star series with the new Star 3 and Star 3 Duos, successors to Star and Star 2, respectively. These feature phones will come enhanced with Samsung’s ChatOn social networking service, along with better multimedia and a stylish design.

Both Star 3 and Star 3 Duos are touch phones with a minimalist metallic frame, rounded edges, offering ergonomic grip at 11.5mm. The included ChatON communication service allows signing-in without ID or password to send personalized multimedia messages, group chat and buddy management. Besides, these phones aim at keeping you connected at all time with instant messaging services like MSN, Yahoo!, and Google Talk, natively integrated Facebook, Twitter and push emails.


The Star 3 and Star 3 Duos carry a similar spec sheet, the only difference is that the Star 3 Duos comes with a dual SIM system. Take a quick look at their specifications:

The Star 3 and Star 3 DUOS will be made available in Russia, later this month and will gradually be rolled out in CIS, Europe, Latin America, Africa, Middle East, and Southeast Asia. The Star 3 DUOS will also be launched in Southwest Asia. There is no word on their prices, yet.
