Alleged images of HTC One successor emerge, rumoured to pack Snapdragon 800

Purported images of the HTC M8 (codename for HTC One successor) have emerged in Taiwan. Posted by ePrice Taiwan, these images show the back-panel of the device, which seems to be keeping the HTC One like design.

The authenticity of these images could not be verified and even the source seems to be slightly sceptical about them, so take these with a pinch of salt.

The phone is rumoured to pack Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor, 3GB of RAM, HTC Sense 6.0 user-interface and 5/5.2-inch display. The phone also reportedly features a fingerprint scanner but the position is not same as recently launched One Max and scanner has now been placed on the top of the back-panel.

HTC M8 is expected to be announced at Mobile World Congress 2014. Other details are a mystery at this point.

The ePrice Taiwan also notes that HTC will be unveiling Butterfly 2 at CES 2014, which will also come with Snapdragon 800 processor but other details are unclear right now.
