Nokia Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 might be one of the early devices to get the much awaited update GDR2 (Windows Phone 8 build 10327) update.
Microsoft is working on an incremental update dubbed as Windows Phone 8 GDR2 for the Windows Phone 8 based devices. A WPCentral Forum users claimed to have spotted the Windows Phone 8 GDR2 update for the Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 smartphones.
The new Windows Phone 8 GDR2 update will be customised by Nokia to add new features and could push as the Amber update for its Windows Phone 8 based Lumia devices. The WP8 GDR2 update brings the much awaited FM Radio feature to the users. The Xbox Music will also get some enhancements for smoother streaming and playback.
The update is already available through the forums but not officially pushed by Nokia since the company is still testing it. Nokia would be adding the new Pro Camera app for the other Lumia series of devices along with few tweaks as well.
The Amber update is scheduled to arrive the Lumia series of devices later this month. Also, don't forget to take a backup of your data on Windows Phone 8 devices before applying the update.
