Asus roadmap leaked post its press conference in China and it pointed to the plans for introducing Asus MeMOFone HD 5 - an Android based smartphone with 5 inch display.
Asus did surprise many with the PadFone 2 last year. Now the company plans to go a step ahead. The future plans of Asus include MeMOFone HD 5, which means a Google Android OS based smartphone with 5 inch display. German website MobileGeeks posted the presentation slides listing Asus' future product plans.
Asus is slowly drifting towards the smartphone segment with its future line of products. One of the presentation slides at the press conference held in China carried plans about Asus MeMOFone HD 5. It is obvious that the company plans to introduce a MeMOFone family smartphone 5 inch display with HD resolution.
The roadmap merely carried the product names without any specifications or estimated date of launch. We count such plans as raw and they may get canned if the time is not right. However, it would be interesting to see a budget level MeMOFone HD 5 from Asus.
