Apple to announce new iPhone model on September 10

Apple is planning an event on September 10 and is expected to unveil the new iPhone model.

Apple will announce the successor of iPhone 5 on September 10 in a big event, according to a latest report of AllThingsD which quoted its sources as saying this.

Apart from the new model, Apple is also said to announce a reduction in prices of the old iPhone models to attract more customers.

Apple is currently testing out the iOS 7 beta builds through its community of registered iOS platform developers and the update is scheduled to be released anytime in coming few weeks. Thus it seems obvious for Apple to launch a new iPhone model with iOS 7 pre-loaded and also to make the iOS 7 update available to the supporting set of iOS devices.

The radical design change introduced in iOS 7 also hinted the possibility of the Biometric Fingerprint Security option as reported recently.

No confirmed reports have surfaced about the display, design or form factor of the next iPhone model.
