Xolo today launched another budget Android smartphone called Xolo A500S. The 9 mm thick smartphone comes in four colours (black, blue, red and white), and is priced at Rs 6,999. It is the cheapest smartphone in Xolo's stable. Incidentally Xolo's X500, which is based on Intel processor, is also these days available for around Rs 7,000.
Xolo A500S comes with a 4 inch screen with decent 233 ppi pixel density. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and 512 MB RAM. The XOLO A500S comes with a Mali-400 MP GPU for a great gaming experience as well. The Android Jelly Bean 4.2 based A500S has a 5 megapixel rear camera and a front VGA camera which can be used to make video calls using 3G connectivity.
