It has Android 4.2 operating system, 5 MP rear camera, and many other decent features.

Xolo today launched another budget Android smartphone called Xolo A500S. The 9 mm thick smartphone comes in four colours (black, blue, red and white), and is priced at Rs 6,999. It is the cheapest smartphone in Xolo's stable. Incidentally Xolo's X500, which is based on Intel processor, is also these days available for around Rs 7,000.

Xolo A500S comes with a 4 inch screen with decent 233 ppi pixel density. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and 512 MB RAM. The XOLO A500S comes with a Mali-400 MP GPU for a great gaming experience as well. The Android Jelly Bean 4.2 based A500S has a 5 megapixel rear camera and a front VGA camera which can be used to make video calls using 3G connectivity.

The Xolo A500S comes with an internal memory of 4 GB and 32 GB expandable memory slot, which is quite common to smartphones under Rs 10,000. The phone is powered by a 1400 mAh battery that claims to provide up to 10 hours of talk time on 2G and up to 8 hours on 3G.

The Dual SIM feature of this handset allows you to stay connected on both the SIM cards and with exclusive apps like Xolo Secure (Anti-theft app) and XOLO Secure that backs up call logs, SMS and also tracks the phone's location remotely.
