Karbonn has launched a new 5 inch smartphone, named as Smart A27+. The phone comes with a 5 inch display with qHD (960x540) resolution, 1 GHz dual core processor and an 8 megapixel rear camera. It is priced at Rs 8,999 and is currently available on Flipkart.
Android 4.1 Jelly bean operating system based Karbonn Smart A27+ has a front facing camera VGA camera and a 2000 mAh battery with claimed talktime of up to 7 hours. There is 512 MB RAM and 4 GB inbuilt memory in the phone too. The 3G phone comes with dual SIM support, WiFi, 3G, GPS, and couple of sensors.
The phone competes with the likes of Micromax Canvas 2 but has slightly better display resolution and costs around Rs 1,000 less than the later. Other phone that it competes is with Celkon Signature HD A119 which comes with HD resolution and better 13 megapixel camera and is selling for the same price as Karbonn A27+.
