Nokia quad core Windows smartphone spotted in benchmark

This could be the first Windows Phone operating system based quad core phone.

Finnish handset manufacturer, Nokia may soon launch its first quad core processor based device, if benchmark results are to believed.

On the GFXbench results, the Nokia device was spotted with Qualcomm Aderno 305 quad core processor. As per the benchmark, the Nokia handset has Windows Phone operating system as well.

As of now, Windows Phone based devices come with dual core processors only, so if it at all happens, then this Nokia device would be the first quad core Windows Phone in the market.
