Moto X specifications leaked online, dual-core CPU & 10MP camera in tow

Motorola’s much talked about Moto X smartphone in back in news. The phone might have already been confirmed by Motorola, but hardly anything was known about it until now. Thanks to credible leaker evleaks, we have the key specifications of this phone.

From the first look itself, you will realize that Moto X is not really going to compete with the likes of HTC One, Galaxy S4 or even Sony Xperia Z.

Moto X’s 1.7GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro MSM8960T processor, which is also present in the likes of Xperia SP, is not really a top of the line performer. The 720p displays have become common in mid-range offerings. Unless that 10MP camera is really good, this is going to be another non-flagship feature of the phone. 2GB RAM is however good and should help out in the snappiness of the phone.

Overall, these specs are not of a high-end smartphone, they might not be bad but Motorola seems to be going for good mid-range offering, which can be priced well.

I might get satisfied with these specs, but given the general expectations with the phone and all the hype generated by Google or Mototola executives, with these specs, the phone is going to disappoint a lot of consumers.

To remind you, Moto X is set of be released sometime this summer.
