XOLO’s first Tegra 3 phone Play T1000 leaked online, launching soon for INR 15K

XOLO is really trying hard to be different from other home-grown mobile phone makers in India. Offering Intel powered smartphones and providing OTA software updates are two such steps in the same bid. Now, the company is reportedly planning to offer a NVIDIA Tegra 3 SoC powered Android phone in the country. Dubbed as XOLO Play T1000, the phone is expected to be launched this month.

It might not be the first Tegra 3 phone in the country, but it is certainly the first from an Indian company and will be the cheapest of all Tegra 3 offerings.

According to folks at Android Nova, who seems to have got their hands on what looks like internal company presentations, XOLO Play T1000 will be released with a price-tag around INR 15,000. They have also spotted a NenaMark listing, which further confirms the existence of this smartphone.

As per these leaked presentation and NenaMark listing, XOLO Play T1000 will come with a 4.7-inch 720p IPS OGS display, 1.5GHz quad-core Tegra 3 processor, and Android 4.1.1. The phone will also pack 8MP rear camera, 2MP front camera and 2,000 mAh battery.

Considering these specifications and the rumoured price, XOLO T1000 surely looks very enticing and would be a great competitor to Micromax’s A116 Canvas HD.

Here is a list of key XOLO Play T1000 specifications:

HSPA+ 21Mbps
4.7-inch 720p HD IPS display with OGS
1.5GHz quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor with ULP GeForce Graphics
