Maxx launches two big display bearing Android smartphones under Rs 12K

Maxx AX9Z Race has a 5.3 inch display while AX8 Race has a 5 inch display.

Indian handset manufacturer, Maxx Mobiles has launched two new Android smartphones, called AX9Z Race and AX8 Race.

The Maxx AX9Z Race is a 3G Android phone with Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean operating system, Mediatek MT6577 1.2 GHz dual core processor, 512 MB RAM, 2300 mAh battery, 8 megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front camera. The dual SIM handset has also 4 GB internal memory (user available memory could be around 2 GB), WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, expandable storage slot of 32 GB, and GPS. It has a 5.3 inch touchscreen with qHD (540x960) resolution. The 10.5 mm thick smartphone weighs 203 grams and has Proximity, Gravity, Accelerometer, and Light sensors.

The Maxx AX8 Race is a 3G Android phone too but has Android ICS operating system, 1 GHz Mediatek MT6575 processor, and 5 inch display with 480x800 pixel resolution. It is slightly slimmer (10.2mm) and weighs a bit less (198 grams) than the other.

However, like the Maxx AX9Z Race, the Maxx AX8 Race has 4 GB ROM, 512 MB RAM, dual SIM facility, 8 megapixel rear camera, 2 megapixel front camera, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, 32 GB expandable storage and a 2300 mAh battery. It too has Proximity, Gravity, Accelerometer, and Light sensors.

Maxx AX9Z Race is priced at Rs 16,666 but can be purchased at Rs 11458 while the AX8 Race has an MRP of Rs 9999 but is available from Maxx's online store for as low as Rs 8218.
