Hotmail.com dead, Outlook.com is the new address

The upgraded email system from Microsoft aims at bringing everything under one single brand but with same great functionality.

Microsoft has finally concluded the Hotmail service. Now onwards users would no longer be required to log in to hotmail.com for accessing their email messages and service but instead everything will be made available for them on Outlook.com.

The new Outlook service offers deeper integration with Skydrive and users can now share and receive files form Sky drive using the messaging service. The new application has already been released for Android.

The existing users can now access the web based services using mobile device and computers directly by accessing Outlook.com in place of Hotmail and olive mail addresses. The login details have all been migrated to the new domain automatically and same will be made available to uses upon login. The same applies to the users who have their Windows Phone and other Windows mobile devices linked to the accounts as they will continue to get the same services without any break in service due to the shift over.
