Official Imgur Android app lands in Google Play, Australia only right now

Reddit’s favourite image hosting website Imgur is readying its official Android app. They have released a beta version of the app in Google Play, but it seems to be Australia-exclusive right now. Looks like, we will have to wait for a few days to get our hands on the app.

Right now, the Imgur beta allows users to browser the trending or viral images, comment or vote on them as well as allows user to upload the images to the site.  Here is the full feature-set:

Browse the most viral images on the Internet
Comment and vote on images
Upload straight from your phone
Manage your account
Submit images directly to the Imgur gallery
Imgur is pretty popular and you can get an idea of its popularity by what Imgur Founder & CEO Alan Schaaf wrote on the site blog yesterday – We have some pretty massive traffic here at Imgur. There are over 125,000 visitors browsing the site at peak times, and we see 4 billion page views and 65 million uniques per month.

If you live in Australia, you can download Imgur from Google Play.
