Samsung has formally announced the Galaxy II Plus smartphone with dual-core 1.2 GHz processor, 4.3-inch Super Amoled display and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Samsung has formally announced the Galaxy S II Plus smartphone at the on-going Consumer Electronics Show 2013 in Las Vegas, USA. GALAXY-S-II-Plus-1 The new Galaxy S II Plus smartphone features a 4.3-inch touchscreen display and runs Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean with a flavour of TouchWiz on top of it. The Galaxy S II Plus houses a dual-core 1.2 GHz mobile processor and packs 1650 mAh battery. Samsung has not announced the availability and price of the Galaxy S II Plus. GALAXY-S-II-Plus-2 The Galaxy S II Plus's display comes with native 480x800 pixel resolution. It houses a dual-core 1.2 GHz mobile processor that powers the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean with 1 GB RAM. This smartphone offers only 8 GB on-board storage with a micro SD card slot to expand the storage up to 64 GB. Samsung will offer this smartphone in two models - with NFC chip and without NFC chip. GALAXY-S-II-Plus-3 The Galaxy S II Plus will have 8 megapixel camera at the back with LED Flash that can capture high quality images and also to record full 1080p HD videos. In the front lies the 2 megapixel camera to support video chat. Samsung will load its slew of Hubs as per the regions - Readers Hub, Video Hub, Games Hub and Music Hub along with Samsung App Store. GALAXY-S-II-Plus-4 With quad-band 3G network support, the Galaxy S II Plus also packs dual-band WiFi and WiFi Direct feature. For more accurate location reporting, the GPS module supports A-GPS and GLONASS. Samsung has packed a standard 1650 mAh battery which might turn out to be bit less for this powerful smartphone. Samsung is yet to announce the pricing and formal availability of the Galaxy S II Plus smartphone. If priced well around Rs 25,000, the Galaxy S II Plus can prove to be the worthy successor of Galaxy S II.
