Samsung starts selling Galaxy Ace Duos S6802 in India

The newest member of the Galaxy Ace family offers a 823 MHz processor, Android Gingerbread, & a 5 MP camera.

Samsung had announced its latest Galaxy Ace series smartphone, the Galaxy Ace Duos, for the international market last month. But even though Samsung has yet to officially kick start the sales of the new galaxy Ace Duos, the smartphone has already started selling through online sellers for a price of Rs 12,900.

Infibeam, a popular online sellers, is offering the new Galaxy Ace Duos S6802 exclusively for the buyers in India. The smartphone is an upgraded version of the Galaxy Ace duos i589 that is presently available in the markets worldwide.

The new upgraded Ace Duos brings along dual GSM radios for cellular connectivity as compared to the GSM plus CDMA radio combination found on the older Ace Duos i589.

The Galaxy Ace Duos S6802 comes with a 3.5 inch display with a 320 x 480 pixel resolution along with HSDPA 7.2 connectivity. The device is powered with an 833 MHz processor running Android Gingerbread 2.3 operating system for maximum compatibility with most present day apps as well. Users can also take the advantage of the integrated 5 megapixel camera to take and share stunning photos and videos.

Samsung's Touchwiz user interface has been incorporated in the device that lets users navigate the phone easily and fluidly. An onboard 3 GB of storage ensures users can comfortably store videos, music, and images on the go.

Also Samsung's ChatON communication service also comes preinstalled on the device and lets users connect to any phone platform into a single community.
