Dropbox for Android gets updated, gets ICS support.

Dropbox has updated their mobile application for Android and though it’s not available for download officially on the Android Market, Dropbox has released an updated preview of the app. The new version has been updated, cleaning it of a few bugs and errors and it has got added support for other languages, besides English. Also, the application has got optimization for Android 4.0 aka Ice Cream Sandwich.

Some of the new features for this updated Dropbox app include:

1.> Favourites: quick offline access to files
2.> Bulk upload photos and videos
3.> Rename files and folders
4.> Single-tap access to all file and folder actions
5.> Improved gallery view
6.> Upload from and export to local storage
7.> Numerous bug fixes and stability improvements

The application can be directly downloaded from here and it’s a preview, so there may be a few minor hiccups plaguing this build version. This new application has been given a visual as well as under the hood overhaul and is more like a precursor, before their official update.
