Redesigned iPhone, iPad and MacBook Pro in the works?

As with all things Apple, throughout the year rumours and speculations surface regarding what the next device would look like. It does not matter, then if the current version has just released or not even released, yet in a particular country. The rumour mills continue to churn out information about what's likely to follow. Talks about the design of the next iPhone and iPad have been going on for a while and many analysts had predicted, back then that the present iPhone would feature an all new design. However, when the iPhone 4S was launched, the design stayed the same. It was reported earlier that plans to redesign the iPhone were shelved just months before the iPhone 4S was launched. According to a report by iLounge, reliable sources have informed them that not only the iPhone would look different, but also the iPad as well as the MacBook Pro.

Starting off with the iPad, the website states that the next version could be announced, as early as January 2012 and will be 0.7mm thicker than the iPad 2. The increase in thickness is due to the brand wanting to accommodate a twin light bar system that is required for a higher resolution display. The iPad 3 may be available for purchase by March 2012. Next up, the same sources claim that the next iPhone presumably the iPhone 5 will feature a tear drop design and will have a 4-inch display and will be 8mm longer than the present iPhone. It is said that it would have a metal casing; this design was expected on the present iPhone, leading us to believe that there was some weight behind all the rumours that was floating around before the launch of the iPhone 4S. Apparently the upcoming iPhone is being built with LTE battery drain in mind and is still in its engineering phase. The release date for the iPhone 5 is expected to be somewhere around mid next year.
