BigSong is a web based service that lets you download music videos and their audio as Mp3 files. It doesn’t host anything itself. It just indexes content from across the web. So your search for a song is likely to show a corresponding result from YouTube, and then it will show various online sources (like Video2Mp3) that can convert it to audio or download as video. So the site is more of an intermediary between music content sites and converters.
The only downside to the site is the clutter, and the misguiding ads. they are third-party banner ads. The developer of the site should work on that to improve user experience.
